State Schools

The first option of state schools are publicly available education centres who teach the children mainly in Spanish and the local Valencian language. They offer classes in other languages but these are as beginners learning a new language and not a foreign curriculum.

The Spanish state education is open to all EU citizens and is free
from pre-school to 18. You will have to Pay for school books all stationary and extra
curriculum activities. Pre school education is available for free from ages 3-6 in state
